Cortney “Dub” Williford was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area; which translates as calling most people 'dude' and chastising anyone who litters nonchalantly - ESPECIALLY cigarette butts! Drawing inspiration from viscous ambition to conquer topics that most challenge her, in addition to an English professor's obsession with Afro-futurism and technology, this portfolio pretty persistently insisted procurement. An eagerly mused student of everything from ballet to psychology to welding at Laney College, she aspires onward toward a business degree. Fairly often throughout the warmer seasons Dub will pack the bed of her truck, find a friendly place to post her portable butane skillet and offer passers by freshly flipped free flapjacks to extend appreciation for the infinite, unpredictable orb we’re surfing. When she’s able to wedge away time from work, school, family and the thousands of half-active art projects scattered around her apartment, you might find her camping in the unfiltered wilderness – but probably not ‘cause city biz feeds her perpetual fondness for stealth mode.
